Recruiting Independent Therapists |

|
Because ACE does not provide therapists, we wanted to equip you with some information that may assist you in finding staff of your own, to work under ACE's supervision. To assist you in your search, we are providing you with a downloadable handout with tips and suggestions on the “who”, “what”, and “where” of recruiting ABA therapists. This handout includes information about what kind of education, experience and personality characterists to look for. It also provides practical information about where to find potential candidates, the expected pay rate of an ABA therapist and a sample flyer for a college job posting. Additionally, ACE has created an interview form to further assist you in finding the right person for your child. It covers questions regarding their availability, level of commitment, previous experience, knowledge of autism spectrum disorders, career goals and much more. Trained and Experienced TherapistsACE has had the opportunity to work collaboratively and establish a professional rapport with various independent therapists in the local Austin community. Therapists working on programs supervised by an ACE consultant receive initial and ongoing training to ensure effective and consistent program implementation. Lead therapists are individuals who have had several years of hands on experience and training within the field of ABA and are able to effectively work with a variety skill levels. The following therapists have proven to be effective members on ACE’s programs. We highly recommend you consider them for your child’s therapy team. Korie Knapp, Co-Supervisor & Lead Therapist
