Recruiting ABA Therapists

Independent Therapists

Needing to find your own ABA therapist to work with your child may seem overwhelming. Fortunately, it’s likely to not be as difficult as you may think. With local Austin graduate programs in ABA & autism at UT and Texas State there are an abundance of students waiting to be recruited to work as a behavior therapist. Because ACE does not provide therapists we wanted to provide you with some information that may assist you in finding staff of your own. Attached here you will find a handout with tips and suggestions on the “who”, “what”, & “where” of recruiting ABA therapists and an interview form to assist you in finding the right person for your child.

Trained & Experienced Therapists

ACE has had the opportunity to work collaboratively and establish a professional rapport with various independent therapists in the local Austin community. Therapists working on programs supervised by an ACE consultant receive initial and ongoing training to ensure effective and consistent program implementation. Lead therapists are individuals who have had several years of hands on experience and training within the field of ABA and are able to effectively work with a variety skill levels.

The following therapists have proven to be effective members on ACE’s programs. We highly recommend you consider them for your child’s therapy team.
